Quickbooks Desktop to Quickbooks Online Attachment Upload

If you are reading this, you might have found this by Google search.  As you may have become aware, in the process of converting from desktop to online, file attachments are not included.  If you have many of them, this is a real problem as you will not have access to your Quickbooks desktop after about a year of not paying for a subscription.  All of the pdf's, jpg, etc are stored on the same folder as your company data but in a folder structure based on the internal transaction ID.

I was asked to write an application that would perform this upgrade and upload all of the List documents (Customers, Vendors, Inventory Items, and Employees).  I have also written a similar program to upload all of the Transaction documents.

I have not put this program on the intuit third party applications.  I am still looking into it.

My program will upload all of these file formats:  PDF,JPG,JPEG,PNG,GIF,BMP,TIFF,TIF,TXT,RTF,DOC,DOCX,XLS,XLSX,CSV
It will not upload these because Intuit will not accept them: MSG, EML, WEBP

It you want them, then you must search for them under the attach directory and convert them to an accepted format prior to running the upload.

The list of types of transactions I upload are here: Bills, Bill Payments (Checks & Credit Cards), Checks, Credit Memos, Credit Card Charges, Credit Card Credits, Customer payments,  Deposits, Estimates, Expenses, Invoices, Journal Entries, Purchase Orders, Sales Receipts, Transfers, Vendor Credits.  Attachments not transferred are: Sales Orders, Other Names List.

The list of List types I upload are: Customers, Vendors, Inventory Items, and Employees.
One caveat to Employees is that although I upload them, they are not visible unless you have a payroll subscription.

I am handling this on an individual bases so to get this program or to ask me questions, you can email me at CSSOBEL@GMAIL.COM

I am asking $500.  This is good for all of the companies in you Quickbooks installation.
